It does work, native support in Vista, so I doubt I'll be of any assistance. I have three different camcorders and an external hard drive connected via firewire. Are you running x64 or x86? x64 has little or no drivers for camcorders (at least not for my FX1, HC7 or TVR33). x64 did recognize my LaCie hard drive.

It is not there. Part of it resides on another drive where it is not recognized. If the user puts the DVD into the drive tray, Vista boots fine. I have now installed fsx in Vista Home Premium (a few times and on a different hard drive} and now yoke and pedals will stop responding during flight.
